​​Brad R. Nederostek, Psy.D. earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Dickinson College (2001), his Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Towson University (2003), and his Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from LaSalle University (2010). He completed an American Psychiatric Association accredited internship at the VA North Texas Health Care System (2010) followed by a two-year fellowship at the University of Minnesota's Program in Human Sexuality (2012). His primary areas of focus include both male and female sexual dysfunction, compulsive sexual behavior/sexual addiction, and relational concerns. He is an active member of the Society of Sex Therapy and Research (SSTAR), the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality (SSSS), and the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT), earning the prestigious AASECT-Certification as a Sex Therapist. Dr. Nederostek is also one of the few sex therapists to earn the title of Board Certified Diplomate from the American Board of Sexology

With regards to theoretical orientation, Dr. Nederostek's approach is strongly rooted in
Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. In addition, he understands that a 'one size fits all' approach to treatment can be a barrier to progress. He also employs the use of mindfulness techniques and is a strong supporter of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. He has authored an article which involves the proposed treatment of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in psychogenic erectile dysfunction.


Dr. Nederostek currently serves as the only full-time Clinical Health Psychologist within the Home-Based Primary Care Clinic at the
VA North Texas Health Care System. He holds a faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and has taught Human Sexuality I & II summer courses to medical residents at the University of Minnesota

In conjunction with Dr. Nederostek's strong avocation towards education, he has also presented a variety of sexual health workshops and lectures to both the medical community and general public. His views on sexual health have been featured in both a Dallas-based publication and New York magazine.


In his free time, Dr. Nederostek enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He is a PGA Tour volunteer who marshals for the AT&T Byron Nelson and serves as marshal co-captain of the Charles Schwab Challenge. He is a fitness enthusiast and fan of late singer/songwriter, Jimmy Buffett. He has been known to turn to his songs at the end of his work day.
